Phishing Scam

3

Twitter user @ysiu reported on January 25th that his son had fallen for a Discord phishing scam and lost three valuable NFTs. The scammers, who used the Discord ID Callum#3640, apparently used a URL designed to impersonate Sudoswap to phish the victim. A review of the scammer's address indicates many more victims lost assets. Total swapped value of the stolen NFTs is approximately 36.75 ETH/$92,000 at the time of the thefts. A further review of the scammer's address indicates most of the stolen ETH were subsequently forwarded to 0xb2a8b37b1fc3fc0c41ec7d72adcfd47bf85f34c0 before being deposited to Tornado Cash. That address has processed 694 ETH during its active trading life (from October 2021 to April 2022).
